BOTANICAL BAZAAR, Gold Coast Gardening Expo

The Botanical Bazaar, supported by Tropical Fruit World, is a fully interactive Gold Coast Gardening Event aimed to educate and inspire all ages of nature lovers. The Gardening Expo is back Sunday 3rd September 2017 and is set to be the largest Outdoor and Gardening event on the Gold Coast.
This one-of-a-kind Gold Coast Gardening Expo brings urban gardening, creative ideas and sustainable living to garden enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you are a novice or serious gardener, the Botanical Bazaar has it all. Take home new gardening ideas and expert advice, fall in love with botanical homewares and art, have the ability to purchase a variety of plants. Come and learn how to grow your own food, how to attract butterflies and birds to your backyard or how to make your own cheese. See locally made vertical gardens, aquaponics and botanical art, learn about composting or how to maintain Native/European bees (including the Flowhive), get access to a variety of eco items to help you live a more sustainable life. Learn about the unusual and mysterious world of botanics by attending one of our education sessions. There are inspiring workshops presented by various gardening experts such as Phil Dudman, Claire Bickle, Green Dean and many more. Plus local gardening groups passionate about their individual areas of interest available to answer your questions. A full program with timetable will be listed on the education page soon.
There will be a large selection of plants to purchase on the da. Why not buy up big and leave them at our plant cloak room where you can store all your purchases. Some of the plants available at the Gold Coast Gardening Expo are frangipanis, geraniums, bromeliads, airplants, natives, succulents, staghorns and herbs. Plus orchids, tropical plants, fruit trees and even the beautiful vireya rhododendrons. The list goes on and on!
Mr Fothergill’s Kids Hub, hosted by Natura Education
Kids will be entertained with plenty of interactive activities at the ‘Mr Fothergill’s Kids Hub’, hosted by Natura Education. They can make their own nature crafts, walk inside a butterfly enclousure, learn about (and touch!) snakes, be inspired to recycle and compost. Plus they get to take home their own free gift compliments of Mr Fothergill’s Seeds.

Held at the picturesque Country Paradise Parklands encompassed by 13hectares of nature surrounds. The Parklands at Nerang host large undercover facilities and beautiful outdoor areas, including community gardens, River Keepers wetlands group, healing hooves horse rehibilitation and more.
