Mr Fothergill’s Kids Hub, hosted by
Natura Education are experienced real-life scientists and teachers who deliver nature-based and interactive lessons to children and teens. They will be hosting the free activities within the Kids’ Hub.
Activities will run constantly throughout the day and involvement is based on availability.
Here is what to expect on the day;
Activity 1 – Children will learn about recycling whilst being guided to make their own upcycled t-shirt bags (3 to 12 years).
Activity 2 – Children can enjoy independant play and Make Mini Nature Gardens Pots with playdough as a base for adding sticks, leaves, pebbles, feathers etc and make your mini gardens (3 to 12 years).
Activity 3 – Learn about Waterbugs and healthy waterways with Mini Beasts interactive activity
Presentations throughout the day;
Mini beasts of land and water / life cycles / importance in our gardens, using meal worms, earth worms, snails and waterbugs (3 to 10 years).
