Flower Crown Making with Julia Rose

Julia-Rose is a celebrated floral artist with an international reputation for her sumptuous organic and naturally eclectic designs. Her work has been featured in national and international campaigns and fashion magazines and now you have the chance to learn some of her trade secrets!
Julia-Rose will be teaching simple techniques to make a wild and colourful flower crown. Sit outside and enjoy nature with this relaxed workshop in groups of 20 where Julia will help you get creative, give you some of her own secret tips and you take home your own floral crown creation.

Indoor Plant Success 101 Workshop w/ Claire Bickle

Learn about keeping the healthiest and happiest indoor plants suitable for your space with horticulturalist expert Claire Bickle.
Held in a private setting where you can get to know Claire and ask her all your plant questions. She’ll talk about plant care, help you choose the best plants for your indoor space and where to find them, plus you’ll get to take home your own indoor plant to help get you started!

Gardening for Pollinators Master Class w/Claire Bickle

Beginner Basket Making Workshop – SOLD OUT!

Join Rebecca O’Connell, a multidisiplinary artist, trained in Visual Arts, for a introduction into coiled basket making.
Learn about suitable plant fibres to forage for yourself, how to prepare the plant materials and how to create your vessel using these natural materials.
You will get to take home your handmade coiled vessel and lots of inspiration for other basket making techniques.
Workshop goes for 1.5 hrs and is held at the event.

Introduction to Botanical Dyeing – Bundle Method
Sunday 4th August, 10am – 11.30am (SOLD OUT) AND 2.30pm – 4.00pm [$43+ BF and festival ticket]
Hosted by Botanical Dyer and Fibre Artist Sue Connor from Playing with Fibre.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the magic and beauty of natural dyeing.
Sue will share with you which plants and kitchen waste can be used for dyeing, how to effectively mordant fabric and the technique of bundle dyeing. You will create your own unique silk scarf reflecting the beauty of nature.
Workshop goes for 1 ½ hours and is priced at $43 (plus booking fee BF) Limit of 12 people. (Suits all ages, under 13 years, must having a paying adult doing the workshop as well.).
