Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I bring my dog?
We LOVE animals, however unfortunately we can not allow pets (only support animals – please notify us prior) inside the fenced venue. This is due to the inclusion of food and drink operations and other animals (snakes, chickens, bees, butterflies, baby animals) on site as part of the event offerings.
Who is the event run by?
The event is run by not for profit group Gold Coast Rotary. This is not a council event, therefore all admission to the grounds must be via the ticket booth entry.
Where can I Park?
Parking is available within the venue for $5 per car. Entry is via Billabira Crescent. Limited free street Parking is available.
I’m not driving, where can I get dropped off?
You can be dropped off at the front entry at 231 Beaudesert-Nerang Road. You then need to walk into the venue.
Can I smoke within the venue?
Smoking is not allowed within the fenced area of the event. Smoking is allowed at the venue outside fenced area.
Why do I have to pay $15 to enter the festival?
There are substantial costs involved with running a festival. These includes speaker fees, amenities, staffing, marketing, hire equipment etc. The entry fee substitutes these costs.
For your entry fee you have access to over 20 different educational talks, and demonstrations, entertainment plus access to many exhibitors who may not have a shop front or normally onsell to the wholesale market.
The event is run by not for profit group Gold Coast Rotary, therefore all funding raising will go back into Gold Coast community projects.
Is this venue disabled friendly?
Yes. There is flat group, disabled toilets, front row seating and free parking available (please see parking attendant).
Can I buy water at the event?
Can you buy drinks at the festival, however NO single use water bottles will be sold. There will be access to free drinking water, so we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle or purchase one at the festival.
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
Yes. However we recommend you pre-purchasing tickets online to avoid the ques, receive a free gift and help us know how many people to expect on the day. This helps greatly for catering purposes.
